Licensed Psychologists in Texas

Psychologists for every corner of Texas, by secure video

Texas is big enough that the nearest specialist can be hours away. We close that gap with therapy by secure video, so a client in Lubbock or Laredo can see a licensed psychologist without leaving town. Psychological Healing has offices throughout the US, and our Texas psychologists see clients anywhere in the state. Texas cities and regions we serve:
  • Houston, Galveston, and the Gulf Coast
  • Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, and the rest of the Metroplex
  • Austin, San Antonio, and the Hill Country
  • El Paso and West Texas, including the Permian Basin
  • Corpus Christi, Laredo, and the Rio Grande Valley
  • Lubbock, Amarillo, and the Panhandle, plus Tyler and the Piney Woods of East Texas
Our Texas team uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE). Their focus areas include substance use and relapse prevention, bipolar disorder, and performance work for athletes and professionals. Couples therapy is available with select clinicians.

Using your insurance in Texas

Whether your plan comes from a Houston employer or you bought it yourself in Amarillo, here’s how it works with us.
  • Aetna: in-network for Texas clients. See our Aetna page.
  • Optum and UnitedHealthcare (UHC): in-network in Texas. See our Optum and UHC page.
  • Oscar: Oscar members are seen through the Optum/UHC network, not a direct contract.
  • Anthem, Carelon, and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS): accepted depending on the clinician and state, so ask when you contact us.
We check your benefits before your first session and tell you what we found. We do not accept Medicare or Medicare Advantage plans.
