Licensed Psychologists in Virginia

Therapy for Northern Virginia, Hampton Roads, and the rest of Virginia

Commutes in Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads eat up time that could go to your health. Seeing a psychologist by secure video gives that time back. Our Virginia clinicians see clients statewide, and Psychological Healing has offices throughout the US. Virginia areas we serve:
  • Northern Virginia, including Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, and Loudoun County
  • Richmond and Central Virginia
  • Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Newport News, and Hampton Roads
  • Charlottesville, Lynchburg, and the Shenandoah Valley
  • Roanoke, Blacksburg, and Southwest Virginia
Our Virginia care is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). It treats posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, insomnia, substance use, and relationship problems, with a focus on veterans’ mental health and recovery from trauma.

Will my insurance work in Virginia?

In most cases, yes. We’re in-network in Virginia with Aetna, Optum, and UnitedHealthcare (UHC). Oscar plans work too, because we see Oscar members through the Optum/UHC network. If your coverage is through Anthem, Carelon, or Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), it is accepted depending on the clinician and state. That’s true in Fairfax County and in the Blue Ridge alike. To keep things simple, we check your benefits before your first session. We do not accept Medicare or Medicare Advantage plans.
