In-Network Aetna Therapists in California

Clinically reviewed by Karan Singh, Ph.D.

If you have Aetna and live in California, you can see a licensed Psychological Healing clinician without hunting through outdated directory listings. We hold our own Aetna group contract and also see Aetna members through Headway, so we can usually find a route that works for your plan.

Two ways to meet

  • In person at our offices throughout the US
  • By secure video anywhere in California

How billing works with Aetna

Your cost depends on your plan: copay, coinsurance, and whether you’ve met your deductible. Before your first session we check your benefits and explain what you’ll likely pay. Bring your member ID number. Some Aetna plans are administered differently (for example, employer or Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefits), so ask us and we’ll confirm. We do not accept Medicare or Medicare Advantage plans.

What our California clinicians treat

Anxiety, depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), couples and family issues, among others.

Other insurance

We’re in network with Aetna and Optum/UnitedHealthcare (Oscar through Optum/UHC). Anthem and Carelon members can see some of our clinicians through Headway. See Aetna in other states.
