In-Network Therapists for Optum and UnitedHealthcare Members
Clinically reviewed by Karan Singh, Ph.D.
Psychological Healing is in network with Optum and UnitedHealthcare. Our 45 licensed clinicians see clients by secure video in 20 states and in person at offices throughout the US.
UnitedHealthcare or Optum: which is on your card?
For many UnitedHealthcare plans, mental health benefits are managed by Optum Behavioral Health. That means your therapy claims may go to Optum even though your card says UnitedHealthcare. The back of your card usually lists a “Behavioral Health” or “Mental Health” phone number. Either way, send us your member ID number and we’ll confirm your coverage.
What you’ll pay
Your cost depends on your plan’s copay or coinsurance and your deductible. We verify your benefits and tell you what to expect before your first session. Employer-sponsored Employee Assistance Program (EAP) sessions through Optum work differently. Ask us and we’ll check whether yours applies.
